Default How come 1000G project didn't call the O type blood SNP???

I find that rs8176719 (aka the SNP that determines O type blood) is not called in

ftp://ftp.1000genomes.ebi.ac.uk/vol1...notypes.vcf.gz

How come?

I can call it from the high coverage CEU trios bam though...
