    number of TSSs and genes

    Hi all,

    I see that chromosome 2 has some 13000 TSSs(Transcription Start Sites) while chromosome 10 has around 6000 TSSs. So number of TSSs would be around 100000(I guess) and total number of genes are around 25000.

    So is there some relation between number genes and TSSs ? I am not a biologist as you would have guessed...
