help: time of adapter ligation

hello everyone , i'am sample prepation of mRNA, and i have a question about adapter ligation to the dsCDNA:
the protocol of illuminate write: incubate the sample at room temperature for 15 minutes.
as we know we usually make a ligation action overnight, i wonder if 15 minutes is enough for ligation reaction?

If you use the illumina kit to construct library, 15 min is enough for adaptor ligation; if not, the ligation time should be optimized.
