The Complete Genomics Cloud Application team is working on next generation applications in the field of Genomics. We believe in having small teams of highly influential engineers who have the resources required to do what needs to be done. You should be familiar with:
- Coding common scripting and OO languages such as Javascript, Java, Python, Shell, etc.
- Different automated testing frameworks using any of the following tools: Java/JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, CURL or other similar methods
- Unix/Linux and basic shell scripting
- Continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Testing mobile & web applications with corresponding backend infrastructure
Desirable, but not required:
- Familiar with MongoDB, Redis or Memcached
- Familiar with Amazon Web Services
Ideally, you will:
- Be able to solve problems quickly and automate processes
- Use your skills and expertise to help automate various parts of the processes(development, testing, deployment, reporting, etc.)
- Create, execute, diagnose failures in, and maintain the scripts and tools within the different framework
- Be able to get a lot done
- Contribute to a fun working environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (preferred) or technical major
- Equivalent of 2 or more years in a Developer position
