Hi folks!
I want to find all proteins with a similar function to an a particular domain on a much larger toxin (the section of interest is about 450 amino acids). I have found a number of tools that allow prediction of a structure or function of one protein based on homologous sequences (searching through this list of homology modeling tools https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ction_software) , but what about the reverse? That is, to find all proteins with a similar function as the one in question?
Does anyone know of any tools that a beginner could use for something like this/ have any suggestions?
