  • Bioinformatics postdoc position at Univesity of California, Irvine

    Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences and the Institute for Genomics and Bioinformatics at University of California, Irvine anticipate a postdoc position available in the areas of bioinformatics, computational biology and genomics. The position requires good overall knowledge of algorithms, statistics, probabilistic methods, and machine learning. Outstanding programming and software engineering skills are essential.

    Applicants must have earned a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.

    Salary is commensurate with training and experience. The initial appointment will be for a year, with extension to further years dependent in part on the availability of extra-mural funding.
