I'm new to this forum, and new to genetics in general. I am preparing pair-end reduced representation bisulfite seq libraries. This is the first time I've ever created a library and ran into lots of mistakes along the way. The library preparation I've done is for a pilot that will be expanded to more precious DNA samples. I just need to make sure my bisulfite conversion was successful without actually running it on a HiSeq.
Is there is a way that I can check my bisulfite conversion rate without a full sequencing run or without cloning vectors or bacteria? Has anyone tried a gene that might be within my libraries?
Thanks!
