    Hello, everyone.
I ran miseq and 3hours later had been stopped.
"Focus mirror sensor not found" error message.
But! Thumnail images are present 2 cycles.
Clusters is good by the thumnail images.
    Error message is below.
"Focus mirror move sensor and/or sensor failed:
The FPGA reported and error while exacuting command "FOCMRRFOC"

Anyone had experience about this error? And what happend to next?

This is definitely a hardware related error that none of us can help you with. Please contact Illumina tech support. Include a screenshot of the error in your ticket.

Contact tech support just to be sure.

Probably an hardware issue. But make sure the instrument is not upgraded to MCS 2.6.0.4 . We used to have similar issues (but can't remember the exact message) a couple of months ago. Loss of focus occured during the run.

Since our instruments are downgraded to the previous version 2.5.x.x everything seems to work fine again.

        Problem solved.

        I supported illumina tech team.
But error message is poped up again.
So, I contact illumina engineer in Korea.
They checked our instrument about focus mirror part.
And they diagnosed focusing mirror's movements are vey bad, replcement mirror and motor.
Finally, I ran again same libray.
Results is very good Q30 is 94.5% and PF is 93.5%!!
        Thank you for everyone.

          Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
          by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...

          Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
          by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
