Default mergeBed mean when there are empty values

Hi,

Is there a way to calculate mean of merged interval when there are there are one or more merged regions may have empty values. I have a situation where I can not replace these values by 0 as I need to differentiate actual 0 values as opposed to regions not being covered by any reads.

I have a file like where empty values are ".":

Code:
chr1 3012840 3012841 0.25 . 0.58 . 0.75 0 1
chr1 3012850 3012851 0.25 0.45 0.80 . 0.75 0 1
chr1 3012860 3012861 0.25 0.25 0.68 . 0.75 0 1
So, if I merged this with distance of 100bp I should get:

Code:
chr1 3012840 3012861 0.25 0.35 0.68 . 0.75 0 1
Is there a way to get this output?
