Default read density (Chip-seq data)

Hey there,
I already read numerous papers where the term "read density" appeared. But they never explain what this means
Often in the context of Chip-seq. For example: Quantitative read density analysis of H3K27ac Chip-seq data...

I hope you can help me

"Alignment Dichte", to make up a phrase in quasi-German. The reads/alignments are from the sequencing data, the density simply refers to how many are in a particular area. In this case, it's presumably talking about how many reads/alignments happen to be inside of peaks in ChIPseq data.
