De novo Transcriptome and size selection

Hello,
I would like to have your opinion on this:
Would it help me for the my transcriptome assembly if I first made a size selection during the RNA seq library construction ?
the Pros and Cons I saw:
Pro:
This could allow to jump over repeated protein domain
Reduce the possible small RNA contamination
Cons:
Lossing small mRNA fragements
Make the library construction more complicated
