Default DESeq2 minimum BAM files

I have a simple question,
is there a minimum of BAM files that I have to process with DESeq2 for using it?
for example, if I have two samples, not replicates and I want to do a quick and dirty analysis just to detect the major differences in expression profiling, can't I use this tool?
Or do I have to use a different algorithm,
