De novo genome assembly has become an affordable and achievable method to solve biological problems. Following the recent Genome of Animal and Plants (GAP) meeting, I create a google group, to get a place where we can closely discuss problems and share tips and experiences, from raw reads to contig, scaffolds, chromosome assembly, and contaminant filtering, genome annotation stages. If anyone is interested, please consider joining the group here.
Or direct link at https://groups.google.com/g/genome-a...-sharing/about Thanks. |
