Job Summary: The position would principally involve coordinating the library construction for the new sequencing pipelines (Roche 454, Illumina Solexa, AB's SOLiD platforms) in addition to the Ion Torrent pipeline. This position requires a strong molecular biology background and good organizational skills. Prior supervisory experience is a pre-requisite, preferably in a high-throughput laboratory setting. The position will involve DNA purification, PCR, enzyme digestion, library construction, and microarray hybridization.
The candidate should be able to work independently on basic as well as R & D projects including protocol development and optimization, be good at multi-tasking and problem-solving, and have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The position will be required to supervise and train others, plan and schedule work-flow to meet deadlines, complete R & D experiments, and organize data for presentation under direction from the senior manager. Candidates should have sound communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment.

Minimum Job Experience A minimum of 6 years of work experience in the field of molecular biology.
Expertise in the following areas is preferred: NexGen library construction, and automated liquid handling.
