I have never used a nebulizer, but I do use Covaris. I get good libraries with Covaris.

I have used the Covaris for 454 libraries to be sequenced with the XLR70 kit with success, but have not had luck getting the sizing right for longer fragment libraries to be sequenced on the XL+ kit. I believe 454 is working on this, but the parameters they suggested I use gave me library fragments that were too large and they recommended I not sequence them.
