Always used BluePippin with XT kit, as a two-step size selection. Trying out the new Flex kit. Since the protocol calls for a set/given amount of beads in the Flex kit, will the BluePippin size selection be overkill? Has anyone used the two in combination? Does it work better or is the Flex kit best used alone? Thanks.

Nextera DNA Flex workflow includes a double SPRI size selection. A Pippin size selection will reduce library diversity and is not required unless you have a specific application that needs tight size selection.
