Metagenomics/ Number of paired end reads in metasim

Hi,

I am trying to predict some parameters so that I could go ahead and simulate a metagenome (consisting of 100 genomes). I am using metasim with Illumina Miseq platform, read length 200bp. I am little bit confused about the number of paired end reads which I should put in metasim. The main idea being, when I assemble reads, I am aiming for good contig length distribution (> 2000bp).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
