Default Ask for help :which software is better for NGS!

Hello everyone!I'm new in DNA sequencing,but I'm interested in the NGS. So is there anybody good enough to give me some advice on which software is better to be learned or is populated?Thank you very much for your replies!!!

What do you want to do with NGS (eg calling variants)? Which technology will you be using (eg illumina)?
