Sorry for my ignorance; I am a newbie. I have read about the Geno 2.0 test and that it includes testing for Denisovan ancestry. As I can find no test available for Australian Aboriginal ancestry would this be the best I could hope for?
Said another way, I have read that there are only a few world populations which show any Denisovan component, and they are Australian, New Guinean and a few other areas within that vicinity. Does that mean that if someone has no ancestry from that area the test should show zero Denisovan ancestry and therefore to state the obvious if it shows the slightest fraction of Denisovan ancestry it means that person must have ancestry from that area?
