  • Segmentation fault when running Cufflinks

    Hello all. I'm having a segmentation fault when running the most recent version of cufflinks 0.9.3.

    I'm just running the basic command suggested in the setup to test the install.

    cufflinks test_data.sam

    Here is my error message.

    Code:

    I get this same error when I compile cufflinks or I use the binary already provided. I also get this same error no matter what .sam or .bam file I use. I have permissions set properly to allow it to write to the output folder and have also given it several different output folders in locations on my desktop and get the same error. It generates blank .expr and .gtf files in the output directory which I can open, edit and save.

    I have the old 0.8.3 version of cufflinks and it runs without problems. Only the new version has had problems.
