strand-specific Illumina protocol

Is there any way to tell from the sequence data whether an RNA-Seq Illumina run was done on strand specific data or not?

I would assume that you could tell by looking at the reads aligning to the genes. If there's a mix of forward and reverse aligning reads, I might assume that the library was not prepped using a strand-specific protocol.
