Default Bioviz Integrated Genome Browser preview - BAM and better wig support

If you are using Bioviz IGB (http://www.bioviz.org/igb) for visualization, please take a moment to try out the pre-release IGB 6.3 and let us know what you think.

The next version of IGB (6.3, scheduled for release in mid-June or sooner) will support partial loading of local and remote BAM and wig files.

Some sample data from the Loraine lab you can try out using the Arabidopsis thaliana TAIR9 genome are here:
http://www.bioviz.org/quickload/A_th...extgen_samples

You can download the pre-release IGB 6.3 via Java Web Start at
http://www.bioviz.org/igb/preview.shtml

When viewing the sample files, be sure to first select species A thaliana and genome version June 2009.

If you like what you see and have suggestions for improvements, we
would be grateful for your input.

Post feature requests and comments here:

http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?grou...20&atid=714747

or email me directly.

Sincerely,

Ann Loraine, on
behalf of the IGB
development group
