Hey folks,
I just took receipt of a brand new 48 library, Illumina CHiP-Seq kit. However, it had been initially delivered to our stores department, and they in their wisdom had decided to unpack the kit and deliver it to me at room temperature. I reckon the whole kit (Box A & B) has been sitting at room temperature for a maximum of around 3hrs before I finally got it into the freezer. Should I be worried? Craig xx |

Hello,
In my opinion, the most sensitive reagent in the kit is the ligation mix. But it's hard to say if it suffered from standing at RT without testing it. if you have any doubt, you can try to substitute it with NEB quick ligation kit or T4 DNA ligase. |
