Default How to align diploid ab1 files to the reference genome?

I have some human ab1 chromatogram files. Is it possible to align them to the reference genome and get the bam file? How to do that? Thanks in advance!

If you can convert them to fastas, or fastqs, you might be able to use a short-read aligner to ailgn them and make .bams. Or maybe one of tha blast output formats can be converted

Can short read aligner handle fastq with heterozygous nucleotide calls (ie, M, R, S, Y, K, etc)??
