  • Single Cell Analysis Workshop

Oxford Global Training will be holding a Single Cell Analysis workshop on November 20th & 21st in London and also 19th & 20th February 2014 in Central Oxford.

This two day workshop will give you a thorough understanding of technologies used in Single Cell Analysis, specifically flow cytometry and the latest developments within this increasingly important field.

The attendee numbers are limited to only 25, this will help enhance the learning environment and all attendees are asked to complete a pre course questionnaire which is given to the trainer prior to the workshop. This enables the trainer to tailor the content to the individual needs of the attendees, this is only possible with our strict policy of keeping the workshop numbers limited.

When you book on to this workshop we will also give you the opportunity to register for our Single Cell Congress and 5th Annual Next Generation Sequencing Congress using a preferential rate.

For more information please contact me directly by emailing [email protected]

Please be aware that as these places are extremely limited they will be booked very quickly. We will not be releasing the information about the workshop to our general database until next week so if you are interested contact me today to book your place early.

Essential Discoveries and Tools in Epitranscriptomics
      by seqadmin

The field of epigenetics has traditionally concentrated more on DNA and how changes like methylation and phosphorylation of histones impact gene expression and regulation. However, our increased understanding of RNA modifications and their importance in cellular processes has led to a rise in epitranscriptomics research. “Epitranscriptomics brings together the concepts of epigenetics and gene expression,” explained Adrien Leger, PhD, Principal Research Scientist on Modified Bases...

      Current Approaches to Protein Sequencing
      by seqadmin

Proteins are often described as the workhorses of the cell, and identifying their sequences is key to understanding their role in biological processes and disease. Currently, the most common technique used to determine protein sequences is mass spectrometry. While still a valuable tool, mass spectrometry faces several limitations and requires a highly experienced scientist familiar with the equipment to operate it. Additionally, other proteomic methods, like affinity assays, are constrained...
