Globin & rRNA removal from blood RNA
The new Globin-Zero™ Gold Kit from Epicentre effectively removes the highly abundant adult globin mRNAs and the cytoplasmic and mitochondrial rRNAs from human, mouse and rat blood RNA. The resulting Globin-Zero treated RNA is enriched for non-globin coding and non-coding RNAs for subsequent preparation of high complexity RNA-Seq libraries. The single-pass Globin-Zero process yields consistent globin and rRNA removal from both intact and partially degraded blood RNA samples
