Anyone knows how I might get my hands on one? Where do they go after Illumina acquires them for trade in programs? I would prefer to work with a company based in South East Asia if that's possible

I have a feeling (no data to back it up) that Illumina re-markets traded-in instruments (at least that appeared to be the case with GA II's) in "cost-conscious" markets. You may want to find a local illumina sales person/FAS and inquire.
