I hear rumors that service on the Nextseq 500 has been discontinued. Has anyone had issues getting service contract, parts or reagents on their Nextseq 500?

It likely has been discontinued already with their release of NextSeq 550 like last year. Almost all the parts are identical, so you shouldn't have any problems getting service contract renewals, parts or consumables for either a 500 or 550. You might have a problem continuing to get the v2 kits (their v2.5 flow cells are superior) for much longer, but that's not due to the instrument.
