Hi,
I'm interested in doing metagenome functional annotation. I found in some papers, researchers directly align genomic DNA sequence to a protein database, such as COG. I'm thinking, since there are introns between extrons, it seems not valid to do so. Wondering if any one on this spot would put any comments, or direct me some useful references. Thanks in advance and have a good night! |
