I understand that percentage of reads mapped on reference genome depends both on quality of a library and on performance of a sequencing run.
I was wondering what percentage of mapped reads is needed to call the quality of experimental result "excellent", "good", or "below average" (after removing sequences mapping to repetitive elements)?
What are your best results?
Thanks,
D.
