So apparently all the Covid testing has soaked up some chemical that Agilent needs to make supplies for the Fragment Analyzer and TapeStation (and BioAnalyzer too, I presume) resulting in long delays. So, I'm looking into some sort of DIY solution so I can continue using the Fragment Analyzer while waiting for the supply chain to catch up.
After doing a little reading (see https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4551542/ for a start), I'm thinking of trying a hydroxyethyl cellulose/polyvinylpyrrolidone mix. Has anyone tried anything like this with their FA? Is there a chance I could ruin the capillaries by doing so?
