Default Where can I get reference genomes and transcriptomes of E.coli and S. cerevisiae?

Hello everybody,

does anyone know, where I could download reference genomes and/or transcriptomes of E.coli and S.cerevisiae?

Best regards,

Are you not familiar with NCBI?

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/genome

For S. cerevisiae: http://www.yeastgenome.org/download-data/sequence

For E. coli: http://hamap.expasy.org/proteomes/ECOLI.html (probably several other sources)

S.cerevisiae is also available from Ensemble. They have good annotations as well.

As well as http://www.yeastgenome.org/ (download from the genomes section as a single tarball with FASTA sequence, GAF and GFF files)
