Default Isolation of genomic DNA

Dear people,

are there some agents one should avoid when isolating DNA for 454 sequencing (SDS, Triton, Phenol, Chloroform)? Is there some interference with certain substances?

What protocol is best for the isolation of prokaryotic genomic DNA?

Many thanks in advance!

Best regards,
p
