Default A Biologist moving to the Dark Side

Ahoy there!

I am a Posdoc in Germany and despite having worked mostly at the bench I am getting increasingly interested in Bionformatics as a tool - learned some R and shell commands I am now trying to find the time to learn python.

I am interested in gene regulation, namely the dialog between transcription and (alternative) splicing. I'll be doing ChIP-seq soon and in the meantime I am analyzing some publicly available RNA-seq data-sets.

Reading a lot if seqanswers atm but will soon start asking questions.
