Default coverage over genes using GenomeAnalysis TK

Hi. Is there a way to calculate coverage over genes getting an output where you actually can read your gene ID? I am using DepthOfCoverage with GATK but I always end up with coverage over every single chrom position of my interval list but no gene name. Do you know a way to see also the gene name in you output?
