How to use BWA - a newbie's question

Hi guys,

I am trying to do alignment with .fq data by using BWA.

After reading "How-to/exome analysis" I downloaded bwa-0.6.1.tar.bz2 (130.0 kB), unzipped it. However, under the folder, there is no executive file of bwa. The cloest one I can find is bwa.1

Could anyone help me with this? I am using the bash terminal in OpenSUSE. Do I need to install BWA or what?

Got the help from a friend:
under bwa folder -> make
to compile the bwa exacutive file, then it is ready to work.
