Default elution buffer Question

I work with illumina (TruSeq) kits for RNA and DNA sample preparation.
Unfortunately, I spilled the elution buffer (for RNA prep). I try to avoid ordering a complete kit. Maybe someone knows what buffer can replace it or maybe know another kit (cheaper) containing the elution buffer.

You might be able to order just that elution buffer from illumina. We use Qiagen kits for lots of things and have ordered individual buffers on several occasions.

In the US Illumina will generally replace a component if you accidentally spill it. Call Tech support and/or your sales rep for help.

As pmiguel said, Illumina is generally very good about replacing reagents. If you're in a bind you can also just use Tris-HCl or even nuclease free water for the bead elution.
