Smile For ChIP-seq, maximal coverage at a peak?

For ChIP-seq data, what is the maximal coverage at a peak? How to calculate it? Thank you!!!

The coverage is defined as :
Number of (extended) reads aligning over each nucleotide position. Is this correct?

If yes, so the maximal coverage at a peak is the number of reads aligning at the summit of that peak?
Correct?
