Hi everybody,
I´m new at NGS and I´m planning to use one of the Generaead panels from QIAGEN. For doing that QIAGEN suggests to carry out the library prep and quantification after target enrichment using their kits Generad Library Prep and Quant array. However, I've seen that Life Technologies offers Ion Library Equalizer™ Kit which gives the chance to normalize the library without the need to quantify. Is it convenient? Is it better to normalize and avoid quantification? I would really appreciate if you can give me your opinions about the pros and cons of quantifying and normalizing (w/o quantification). Thanks! |
