I am working through "RNA-Seq workflow: gene-level exploratory analysis and differential expression" by Love et al., and I would like to use the package GenomicAlignments. After installing in R [biocLite("GenomicAlignments")], a following call [library("GenomicAlignments")] returns an error (no package called GenomicAlignments). Could someone help me identify the cause of error? Thanks in advance!

You don't mention what OS are you using, but at least in Windows, you require administrative rights to be able to install or even update packages
