Default Does small RNA sequencing generate comparable reads as regular Solexa sequencing?

Hi,

I am curious whether small RNA sequencing will generate similar numbers of reads as the regular single-end Solexa sequencing. Thanks!

Yup. It's just that you'll get far more depth than for genomic/transcriptomic sequencing i.e. >100K copies of the same sequence. This is due to the sample being less complex.
