  • Importing Genome in IGB and Chip Seq data in IGV

Does any body knows how to import Genomes like T. brucei (which is not present in IGB browser) into IGB browser ?

Also, I tried using IGV (which has this genome) but when I loaded the ChIP-Seq Wig file (output from MACS) in the IGV, it doesn't show me any peaks. Any advice or hints will be highly appreciated.

Hi, does the wig file end with a ".wig" extension? Another problem might be a mismatch in chromosome / contig names. Finally, if the file is large you will be happier the wig to "TDF" format with igvtools, or bigwig.

If you want to post a few lines of the file I can advise further.

      Strategies for Sequencing Challenging Samples
      by seqadmin

Despite advancements in sequencing platforms and related sample preparation technologies, certain sample types continue to present significant challenges that can compromise sequencing results. Pedro Echave, Senior Manager of the Global Business Segment at Revvity, explained that the success of a sequencing experiment ultimately depends on the amount and integrity of the nucleic acid template (RNA or DNA) obtained from a sample. “The better the quality of the nucleic acid isolated...
