Hi all,
We are interested in a low-budget project based on SNPs detection on trascriptome data of a non model organism using the Roche 454 Titanium system. We have to use a sequencing service and we are wondering about the maximum number of animals that we can multiplex for a single run (Titanium FLX run: 1 of 4 lanes on a 70 x 75 mm plate).
so I would like to know:
1) The maximum number of individual that can be multiplexed for a run
2) The minimum number of individuals for an adequate SNPs detection analysis.
I will appreciate your help and suggestions!
