Suddenly, I find Illumina's web site updated with
this SP 2x250 kit that can output 400Gbp in 38 hours. https://www.illumina.com/systems/seq...fications.html Previously the best 2x250 was HiSeq 2500 Rapid with a throughput of 150Gbp in 60 hours. The throughput per time is ~4.2x. ![]() about the pricing but I am sure it should also be much cheaper. I suppose even more core labs will be forced to buy NovaSeq now. Also, good news for genome assembly and metagenomics ![]() |
