problem while installing coreutils-8.12

hi,
I need to install velvet assembly software ultimately.. but while installing, it shows the requirement of glibc, the package contains a library written in the programming language of C. 'coreutils' is one requirement for glibc. I downloaded and untar the file coreutils-8-12. I run the command ./configure and the 'make' but it showing the following error

please help me out urgently, i cannot figure out this error.........!!
