Red face Mechanism of ion torrent Adapter ligation, Use with KAPA Hyper Plus Library Kit?

Let me preface this by saying I have never worked with an Ion torrent yet, but we just got an Ion S5, so I want to put it to good use.

Anyone know if I can ligate Ion torrent adapters during my library prep using Kapa Hyper Plus kit?

I want to use this kit:

Which uses A-Tailing for adapter ligation. And then I want to use Ion torrent Adapters instead of KAPA or Illumina adapters for use with Ion torrent. My question is:

are ion torrent adapters
(like these:
designed to work by A-tail ligation? you guys think I can just replace them? and then use primers for the P1 and A adapter sequences for the rest of the workflow? (Speaking of which, anyone know where I can find that info? Thermo does not seem to have made that readily available).

Any insight is much appreciated!

The Ion Torrent are made for blunt-end ligation so they will not be compatible with Kapa Hyper Plus kit without some protocol modification.

The adapter sequences for Ion Torrent can be found here
