Default amplification of indexed pools

hi everyone,

It is believed that reamplification of pooled indexed libraries can lead to recombinant molecules. Does anyone have or know about attempts to experimentally examine this problem? Nimblegen protocol includes LMPCR of captured samples, which is of concern due to this possibility.

What exactly do you mean by recombinant molecule? Do you mean molecules with separate indexes joining together? How exactly would this happen during PCR?
