Current automated systems includes: Pippin Prep or Blue, LabChip XT and Expedeon. Performance of Pippin is better than LabChip (or at least was better a year ago). LabChip eluates contain a trail of small fragments a bit like manual gels. There are some manual systems as well.

Note that there is another option - Nimbus Select available from Hamilton Robotics - for size selection.
