Default NEB kit E6120S

Hi,
I am analyzing data produced from a NEB kit E6120S kit and am wondering if this kit is suppose to be stranded or not? Additionally, if it is stranded is second-strand synthesis, meaning that the reads should be the reverse complement of the gene?

Thanks for any help!
Leanne

This is a discontinued small RNAseq library prep kit. It is directional because it is prepared by ligating ss-adapters to 3 and 5 ends of RNA before 1st strand synthesis. I am not sure about orientation but my guess is that read is derived from the sense strand of the input.
