Hello and Question

Hello all,

I'm a Masters student working on metagenomics analyses of groundwater microbial communities impacted by fecal contamination. I'm currently enrolled in a bioinformatics graduate course with a final project where I have to do some sort of bioinformatics project related to my research.

Would this forum be a place where I can ask questions related to writing scripts for processing Illumina Sequencing FASTQ files? If so, where in the forum can I ask such questions?
